William D. Elkins
William Elkins was raised in a family of six in Pike County, Kentucky - the heart of coal country. He came to Central Kentucky in pursuit of a college education and eventually obtained a Juris Doctor degree and a license to practice law.
William worked his way through school among jobs and a family. He has worked as a farm laborer, a stock boy at Wal-Mart, a home builder and a welder at Link-Belt.
For nearly two decades William has served people as an infantry soldier, a police officer, a prosecutor and an attorney in private practice.
Each year it is William's pleasure to serve the needs of hundreds of people because he cares about their needs. Commitment to people, a professional approach to the practice of law and integrity are the foundations of William's career at law and he is more than proud to serve people all around him who call William Elkins their lawyer.
John H. Keeton
Raised in Floyd County, John left eastern Kentucky to work in Ashland. After working as an accountant for Ashland, Inc. he came to central Kentucky to attend law school at UK. As a trial attorney since 1973, John has litigated literally hundreds of cases. Many of those involved injury claims, medical malpractice, criminal defense, and divorce cases involving serious property issues and custody disputes.
As a Family Law attorney John is keenly aware of the emotional drain that a custody case or a nasty divorce can take. He will help you through the process, and protect your assets – securing a fair and prompt resolution of the case. If the issues involve custody, he will be a watchdog for the best interest of young children. He cares about his clients and he cares about the outcome.
For over 25 years John was involved in criminal defense and served as a prosecutor for 8 years. He has seen both sides of the system and knows full well how it works.
Results are often reached through tough negotiation, but when all else fails, and a fight is imminent – what the client needs is someone that will stand with them and take up the battle. John’s clients can depend on that!
